The Time Machine

Description

The Time Machine is a science fiction novel written by H. G. Wells. The narrator along with some people is listening carefully to the story of the Time Traveller. The Time Traveller showcases a miniature time machine that he has discovered. The same group of people revisits him. They notice that the host is pressurized and tensed. Later, the Time Traveller goes into future through time machine. The time stops in another world where the people are called Eloi. But after travelling in the specific area, the time machine disappears. He decides that it has been inside the pedestal of a nearby statue. He anyway cannot find it and study about the creatures Morlocks and their habitat. He saves one of  the Eloi creatures from drowning, named Weena. He tries hard to retrieve his time machine, from the world of Morlocks. He is afraid of Morlocks and finds a safe place for him and Weena. He goes to a museum, named the Palace of Green Porcelian and finds out weapons. He accidentally lights up fire that night and Weena is killed. Morlocks think that they have trapped him and that is when, he whizzes into future. He further travels and reaches on a beach, where he is attacked. Escaping from there, he travels thirty million years into future. He notices that there is no source of life. Very tired, he returns to present day life. The next morning he again leaves and never comes back.
